The meeting opened with a short review of all the members present and determined attendance as sufficient for a voting quorum.
Vote held on the revised by-laws as discussed last month – all voted in favor of accepting the by-laws.
Discussed methods of building the chapter membership.
The Thunder Gull project will likely increase interest and provide some regular activity.
Discussed helping the CAP with their rocketry - help with rocket builds on Tuesday night (TBD) followed by a Saturday morning launch (TBD) Tentatively planning May 8th at 10:00am.
Began planning the Fall Fly-in
Three car clubs are interested in participating with the Chapter.
In holding with tradition, we will be holding our fly-in on November 2nd, the first saturday each Nov.
Several people will help with cooking this year but it was noted that Dennis' wife makes the greatest potato salad!!!
Conway Airport has a new general aviation manager, Bob Warnersback
Doug will chat with him to get our build room authorized.
Restoration of the Chapter's non-profit status is still in work
The Chapter's incorporation status has been brought up to date with the State of South Carolina
Discussed web page containing member names.
Jesse will send out an email for all members to “opt-in”. Any member not responding or that wishes to avoid the public exposure will be removed from the list before it is made publicly visible again. This choice does not effect the membership status in any way.
Jesse will post the member contact information (phone numbers and email) on the member area of the web page.
